UOC-KP resorts to provocations against the priest of UOC in Duliby

In the village of Duliby of the Goshcha district, Rovno region, supporters of the Kiev Patriarchate, who failed to take away a religios building from the believers of the UOC, resort to dirty methods of fighting with the rector of the local church, Fr. Sergii Timofeev, as reported to the UOJ by the village residents.

Accordig to the local population of Duliby, last week the Goshcha police received a claim signed by four people (supporters of the UOC-KP) that Fr. Sergii Timofeev, rector of the Nativity of the Virgin Church, allegedly puts into the censer some unknown white powder, which intoxicates parishioners during the service. To clarify the situation, representatives of law enforcement agencies even came to the specified settlement for explanations. In addition, according to unofficial information, law enforcement officers should also visit the priest's house to carry out the search.
The Duliby religious community of the UOC suspects that this is a new provocation by the representatives of the UOC-KP to once again foment unrest in the village, to slander the priest and start a new round of religious confrontation.

The church conflict has lasted for more than two years. It was initiated by the former head of the village Lesia Mironchuk, who is the sister of the dean of the UOC-KP in the Goshcha district. During this time, three attempts were made to break into the church by force, however, the UOC believers successfully overcame all such intentions due to their numerical superiority and coordinated actions.
