Filaret receives a biometric passport and considers it ok
According to him, Filaret said that the UOC-KP "supports this process, because it directly affects the security – both citizens and the entire state, especially during this period. No plastic card or number can influence the Will and Faith of a person."
The official added that Filaret "allowed to publish this information, in 2016 he himself received a biometric passport with fingerprints for travelling abroad. And he does not see any personal threat or problem in it."
As reported by the UOJ, in connection with the introduction of biometric documents the UOC believes that citizens cannot impose this or that accounting system on citizens.
