UOC Primate blesses organizers of festival “Children of God”
The event is going to take place for the second time and this year will be held on 1 June, on the International Day of Children’s Defense, under the aegis of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The festival is aimed at helping and supporting orphaned children from all eparchies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, as well as disabled children and those from low-income families.
Pavel Menshun, Director of the charitable fund of Faithful Saint Princes Boris and Gleb, who took efforts for the festival to take place, and festival director Tatiana Shapiro told His Beatitude about the preparations for the festival and awarded the Primate with “Honored Charity Giver” gift.
His Beatitude thanked the organizers for the award and blessed them to prepare further for the festival, having wished them support, peace and good.
