St. Nicholas Holiday for orphaned children to be held in Kiev

A holiday to honor Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker will be held in Kiev and welcome 300 children. An organizer of the action “Saint Nicholas! I am waiting for you! is a charitable fund “Our Bit” functioning at St. Nicholas church on the territory of Kiev public hospital # 17. It is reported by Foma in Ukraine.

The holiday will take place on the eve of the Saint’s memory day, on Saturday of December 17. Children from a number of capital-based secondary schools and orphanages are going to attend the festivity.

The action is aimed at gifting the kids with the festivity – the holiday of care, concern, and affection. The climax of the event is handing gifts from Saint Nicholas.
