UOC: Adoption of draft law 4128 by the Parliament will inscribe unlawful into law

Draft law 4128 – on jurisdiction change of religious communities – will be considered in the Verkhovna Rada on October 6. It was reported head of the UOC Law Department Archpriest Alexandr Bakhov on his page in Facebook.

“This draft law not only opens up a possibility to raid churches on a legal basis, but also establish criteria, according to which anybody can become a member of any religious community contrary to its dogmata,” he underscored.

“Do you fancy what will begin if it is approved?,” asked Alexandr Bakhov.

Earlier at the Round Table dedicated to the topic “Legislative Regulation of the Religious Sphere of Ukraine: Topical Issues and Challenges”, Archpriest Alexandr Bakhov stated draft law 4128 is targeted at church raiding at a legislative level.
