Negative attitude to Cross Procession - evidence of the lack of peace in society, – Archimandrite Alipiy (Svetlichny)

The rector of the Kiev church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, Archimandrite Alipy (Svetlichny) said in the UOJ telemarathon that "all the unpleasant situations, all the provocations that have accompanied the faithful in their feat, only show the lack of peace in our society."

"I am sure that the faithful going in the Cross Procession of peace, love and prayer for Ukraine, managed to bring to the capital peace as the Holy Fire, – said Archimandrite Alipy (Svetlichny). – We have seen jubilation, a triumph the faithful had when they finally came into Kiev."

In the UOJ telemarathon the rector of the Kiev church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul had a low opinion of the Cross Procession security ensured by the authorities.

"Secular people would not tolerate such an organization, – said Archimandrite Alipy, – but Orthodox believers took and accepted all with humility."
