Priest Fedor Konyukhov disappeared from Flight Radar
Fedor Konyukhov, a Russian adventurer, who took off on the world's second solo hot-air balloon flight around the globe, disappeared from the Flight Radar, reports Zvezda.
However, according to his own website, the flight continues.
The launch, which was postponed several times, was held at the airport of the Australian city of Northam at 07:30 local time. Konyukhov was to fly 35 thousand kilometers from west to east.
Recall, the traveller is planning to fly over Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Ocean, Chile and Argentina. Then he will cross the Atlantic Ocean, South Africa, and the Indian Ocean. In Australia he will be back in two weeks.
