Bishop Nikolai (Pochtovyi): Cross Procession-2016 is a runlet to have grown into a powerful stream

All the faithful must join All-Ukrainian Cross Procession of peace, love and prayer for Ukraine at least for a minute and feel rejoice over unity in Christ. It was reported by the Chairman of the Outreach Division of Kiev diocese, bishop of Vasilkov Nikolai in the UOJ live telethon on All-Ukrainian Cross Procession-2016.

“The Cross Procession looks like a runlet. A small runlet which, along the streambed, turns into a river – the Dnieper river – our pride. I believe the runlet of this Cross Procession will certainly grow into a big flowing stream when the pilgrims reach our capital Kiev. I’d like once more to call everyone to participate in this spiritual feat. To come along their village, or a town, or a city – but to merge with this community of Orthodox Christians at least for a minute and feel rejoice over unity in Christ”, said bishop Nikolai.

For those who live off the Cross Procession route, there is a very good solution: you schedule a bus, a car, or a train trip for July 27-28 and come to Kiev, to the walls of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, to Vladimir Hill on the eve and make your own contribution to the common cause”, he expounded.

It will be reminded on July 3rd the UOJ began a telethon on All-Ukrainian Cross Procession-2016.
