Patriarch of Alexandria: We are together with canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church
Patriarch Theodore II, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Alexandria, during his stay at the Cretan Council expressed his support of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church headed by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy of Kiev and All Ukraine, reports Katehon.
"I would like to wish my Beatitude fellow Onufriy, Metropolitan of Kiev, long years. I myself lived in Odessa for 10 years, got personally acquainted with His Beatitude Onufriy and I know he is a holy man," said the Patriarch.
"Let him know that the Patriarchate of Alexandria and all of us are together with the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the leadership of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy. May the Lord give him all the best, long life, and above all health!" he stressed.
Recall that on June 25, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy of Kiev and All Ukraine celebrated his Name Day.
